I agree completely. Louis royally (no pun intended) fucked up. But treating an opinion as unworthy simply because the person expressing it is more interested in the monarchy than the revolutionaries is counter-productive. You don’t have to agree with something to enjoy it. I, for instance, do not condone the majority of the Terror, but I understand and am intrigued by it.
